We visited last week (July 09) and it was quite rainy but it didn't spoil the day. You can have a good look around for free but I would strongly paying for the tour which included a tractor ride around the (very wet) orchards. The cafe was well priced and good quality. Another great way to pass a few hours in Cornwall for young and old alike. This is a lovely place to visit and the Cider is great (particularly the samples - good job i wasn't driving when i visited lol) and lots of other great items to try and buy including chutneys and jams. We thouroughly enjoyed our visit to Healeys Cornish cyder farm. We arrived early and had to wait for about an hour for the first guided tour, but this gave us chance to have a coffee and cake in the lovely barn/restaurant and an expensive browse around the shop (only because i brough so much) We had tried the Rattlers cyder... more
The Cornish Cider Farm near newquay is an excellent and interesting visit for all ages, especially if you enjoy a drop of not just cider, but wines, brandy, apple juice and jams etc. The best way to appreciate this farm is by joining the guided tour and tractor ride.
