My husband and i love to go walking and camping with our children but i would not camp here, it seems a bit destitute or poverty stricken the ranger never seems to be about and roudy people seem to congregate at night in the camping area. The sceenery is nice and is quite unspoilt in areas, it is nice for... More

We have just returned from a lovely relaxing weekend in our caravan at Drum Manor Forest Park. Very peaceful site, with a nice forest walk and some gardens (not manicured!). A few minor niggles - the signage is poor for directions to the caravan site. You will think that you maybe have taken a wrong entrance turning but you need... More

There is a lovely walk around Drum Manor but the one thing it lacks is a park maybe for the kids as it has a caravan site.

We just a fantastic day around Drum Manor Forest Park today. Our two young daughters absolutely loved walking through the forest and around the lakes. The highlight was the stunning garden areas where some serious fairy hunting was done. Cannot wait to see this place in the summer. On the way out, we noticed there is camping here too, so... More

I like Drum Manor Park for walking as there are varied paths to walk around it depending on personal needs. There is also a caravan park which is busy during holiday seasons. The park is very popular in the long evenings and sunny days for families, joggers, hikers, dog walkers etc.

We didn't camp here and judging from previous reports we never will and wouldn't recommend anyone else to do so. However, we walked and picniked there early July on a sunny day and enjoyed it. When we arrived mid-morning the car park was relatively empty. There's a freewill admission point on the way in with a notice saying the warden... More

Hi, just literally returned from an overnight camping trip to Drum Manor which turned out to be a complete nightmare. My kids - daughter 8 and son 4 had been begging to go camping for months, so we bought a nice new tent, all the equipment and let them have a look at campsites in Northern Ireland online. Everyone agreed... More

It was a wet weekend but this is a nice small campsite. Sean the warden is very helpful and the facilities are OK. Toilets would have benefited from an extra clean mid Saturday evening but overall OK. Walks amazine and a few nice tourist attractions close by.
