There isn't much to Carrickfergus to be honest, but they have made a really nice job of the marina. Some very nice bars and places to get food and a nice little walk out along the pier. You could just park up and put and afternoon in enjoying the scenery.

A lovely marina for a good stroll and to watch the boats come in.

Lovely marina restricted to those who own the boats. No-one is allowed access unless accompanied by an owner.

This is such a lovely marina with first class facilities - showers/laundry/toilets/security. Everything is well maintained and extremely clean. When we stayed there on our boat, they offered a stay of 2 nights, and get the third night free. It is best to radio ahead for availability, but we have never had any trouble getting a berth on our 2...
