Bushmills Distillery is an active distillery. A person can see from the tour the whiskey being made and bottled. The tour ends where the tour offers a free sample of the 1608 or the 12-year whiskey. It is also the oldest licensed distillery in the world.

Thoroughly enjoyed our mid morning tour. It was good to discover how Irish whisky is made differently from Scotch. We enjoyed the tour of the Distillery, but would not recommend going on the last tour of the day (it was either 4 or 4:30PM). We were rushed along by our guide and didn't have time to really watch the process. We were given our free whisky though and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Brill tour, very informative, learnt alot. Friendly tour guide and chance to sample whiskey at end of tour. Thought shop was good but whiskey seemed very expensive.

We found it extremely interesting to visit a working distillery where we could see the process of making whisky from start to finish, including tasting the finished product. The tour guide was very informative.

We didn't take the tour because of the negative reviews here, but found the video & displays very interesting. We also loved the gift shop. We love this entire town as well.
