i expected this to be just a walk around museum, but it was really good!! designed to feel like you are walking around soldiers digs and even out in the trenches with sound effects of 'war'. insightful and reflective,

if you are into your history this place is really worth a visit. we took my daughter when she was aobut 8 and she loved it too. very good visit,but not really for younger kids

I found my visit to the Somme Heritage Centre a very moving experience. Well worth a visit for people with an interest in the First World War. The exhibition and interactive exhibits are excellent.

An interesting and very worthwhile experience - tour guides are excellent - would advise to avoid school holidays though it can get very busy.

Went here on an organised tour. Absolutely excellent young man guided us around the exhibition. Little cafe provided us with sustenance and can be visited without paying any entrance fee.

I have taken a number of school groups here and the students have always found it a very worthwhile experience. The presentations are very informative and balanced.
