I have to disagree with absolutely everything Mr. M has stated about the FE McWilliam Gallery. Clearly a professional complainer with absolutely no idea what he is talking about - on all levels.

This is an updated review to reflect a comment made by the management. The FE McWilliam gallery is a small attraction just off the main Newry to Belfast road. Named after the fairly obscure artist who was born in Banbridge, Co Down. Good that has free admission as is paid for and ran by the local Council! There is also... More

We called in as we had heard this place did fabulous food and it didn't disappoint . I had the quiche which was delicious, my Wife had the Crostini and we shared some lovely chips. The place was jammed and the service was excellent, a real find, we will be back soon.

Just off the main Belfast Dublin road, this gem of place could easily be overlooked. We received a 1:1 tour with interesting discussions on many of the exhibits. There is also a lovely little cafe attached. Wll woth a visit.

We visited Quails at the Gallery between Christmas and New Year. We have used it before and I have used this place as a business meeting stop so I have considered it to be quite good in the past. However my last visit will be...my last visit. Service was incredibly slow (they were not obviously understaffed or overly busy). My... More

Called in for tourist information however I found the assistant in the tourist information section was in the back office and I had difficulty getting their attention, the restaurant section was overpriced and without atmosphere and not a great selection of food. This is an arts gallery as well and appears just to attract out of town callers, very few... More

This is essentially an art gallery with a cafe but it is a quiet space with a lovely feel even if located on a busy roundabout. The outdoor area feels well removed from its location and its exhibits feed the mind while the cafe beautifully feeds the body!
