I have to disagree with absolutely everything Mr. M has stated about the FE McWilliam Gallery. Clearly a professional complainer with absolutely no idea what he is talking about - on all levels.

The FE McWilliam gallery is a small attraction just off the main Newry to Belfast road. Named after the fairly obscure artist who was born in Banbridge, Co Down.

We called in as we had heard this place did fabulous food and it didn't disappoint . I had the quiche which was delicious, my Wife had the Crostini and we shared some lovely chips. The place was jammed and the service was excellent, a real find, we will be back soon.

This is essentially an art gallery with a cafe but it is a quiet space with a lovely feel even if located on a busy roundabout. The outdoor area feels well removed from its location and its exhibits feed the mind while the cafe beautifully feeds the body!
food always good here, not huge portions and not cheap but always good - especially love the egg and bacon and soda breakfasts!
