Well worth a trip; the house is smaller than some in this category but very interesting architecture; you get the feel that the house is very lived in by the family. We took an audio tour which was very interesting and there were guides in all areas to answer any questions you had. The grounds are extensive and there are leaflets to describe lovely walks to take.

The house is fairly cute and the grounds are lovely, especially during bluebell season and there are lots of interesting sculptures alnog the many walks there. Very much a family home, intersting but not remarkable. Would not bother going to the house again but would probably go to an event in the grounds
