Went today to Lightwater Valley, and used their Facebook check-in offer (£16 for up to 2 people throughout 2012 I believe). Although 3G isn't perfect (or maybe existant), there was a free wifi to connect to to obtain this offer at the gates. The place is just beautiful - there's a mixture of countryside and peaceful rides, and downright white-knuckle... More

Value for money! We went friday 13th april :) Well worth the drive up from Liverpool. We had 2 adults, a teen and two 9 yrs olds. Something for everyone. Short queing times......a bonus. Rides:A GOOD BROAD SELECTION OF RIDES, attendants a bit slow to secure everyone in on most rides and only one train on the "ultimate" so the... More

Hi There! Thank you so much for posting your review. We really appreciate it. We've recently decorated The Granary and converted it to table service. 20 minutes is too long to wait for a menu. As such I've forwarded your comments onto the team who rest assured will take it on board. Though I am craving some hand cooked chips!... More

During our trip we went first to the Eagle's Claw but this was broken with people stuck on the ride, we then queued for 45 minutes for the Ultimate despite the park not being busy because they only had one train on. We then went to Raptor Attack but this was out of order, we did manage to get straight... More

Hi There, We are really sorry to hear negative things said about your day out. When Ash, our marketing manager replied to your comments he was checking the maintenance log book which keeps a record of any downtime during the day. The records show that any rides that did go down were back up very quickly. In addition, we offer... More

First of all I would just like to say a big thank you to the PR and Marketing team at Lightwater Valley. We visited the park on 12th April and all had a great time. Our daughter (4) loved the rides and there was plenty to keep her entertained all day. There are lot's of places to buy something to eat and picnic tables are everywhere if you take your own. The area by the lake would be especially nice for a... More
