place looked awful, animals for all that there was looked sad an depressed and staff, well no were to be seen!! Handwashing facilities, beyond a joke!! Two children with me, its really a good job i carry my own handwash!! Park an grounds lovely but the farm diff a disapointment! Feel sorry for the animals!
Good day out for groups. Ring Council and arrange to use their facilities
All you need to do is bring some leftover bread and fruit and veg (worth even buying something especially if you have none left over) and have a fun day out.
Plenty of parking, accessible toilets and hand washing facilities. Follow the path around and visit the goats, pigs, hens, peacock, horses, donkeys, cows, sheep, ducks - all the animals...

Gorgeous gardens, brilliant park, lovely museum, fun maze and great animal farm. Best family day trip out around!
It is free. It is good in all weathers. The kids love it and have their favourite animals. It is clean and safe with good toilet facilities.

on visiting the farm today...after the 'great refurbishments' we were very disappointed to see that the small animal section was not open to the general public..only to group bookings!!
My little 4 year old granddaughter was really looking forward to seeing the baby chicks etc..
