I've only done this cruise once and will never do it again. I had previously been on cruises in other places, and this one did not compare favourable with the others. For instance Donegal Harbour cruise is absolutely excellent and takes you out for miles around the harbour where you get to see wild life and have a wonderful view... More

Well maintained boat. Interesting sights. We sailed on a cold, showery April day. We provided with blankets to help keep us want sitting up top. A bar service available. Staff friendly. Only down side was we sat up front on top deck and could not hear commentry properly.

This is an exceptional attraction in Kinsale. The trip takes around one hour, and has great views of Kinsale Harbour and Charles' Fort. The boat has comfy seating more like a relaxed cafe downstairs inside and also upstairs (blankets provided if it's cold). Friendly and professional staff, and with well-informed tourism advice if needed. If you are visiting the area,... More

The weather was not good but we still went out--and weren't we glad. The commentary was just great, full of local history and folklore.Any questions we asked of the Captn were answered with great good humour---and so informative ! The place --harbour, Castle , coast etc is just beautiful. The time just flew and we were sorry when it was over.... More

A thoroughly enjoyable and informative way to spend an hour if you are visiting Kinsale. This town is steeped in history and the captain of Harbour cruises is a local man who has a degree in Archaeology and Celtic Civilisation and is now studying for his Masters Degree in Local History. He has an extensive knowledge of his local area... More

We were out in the wind due to the last effects of Hurricane Katia, September 19. The boat and hostess was very welcoming with a full tea service brought right over to our table and chairs! It was a warm & welcoming treat, and nice to be out of the wind. The boat has an upper deck if you like... More

I did this one-hour harbour cruise with work colleagues on a sunny September afternoon. Kinsale is a beautiful harbour with dramatic views, but from the water it looks even better. If seeing Charles Fort and James Fort was all I got for my money I would have been more than happy. But we got to see many varieties of sea... More
