This was worth the walk from town. Given sunny weather we enjoyed walking around this historic fort. Loved the shape which we had seen in The Netherlands also.

If you have time, definitely take the short hike outside of town to Charles Fort.

What a super place to visit, so lovely to fully explore with no barriers. Great value at only 4 euro per person, on a hot day would spend hours and hours looking at the view

Just a short drive up the hill from Kinsale lies Charles Fort. With it's fantastic views of Summer Cove and the surrounding countryside it is certainly worth your time. Really interesting history and view, cheap cost for the time spend there

Beautiful views of Kinsale and some lovely photo ops. We enjoyed some of the interactive displays and learned quite a bit. As it was a self-guided tour, it was a great opportunity to tour at your own pace and concentrate on your own areas of interest.

Nice place to walk around and explore with some great views and picture opportunities

On the end of the Scilly Walk, is the fort and it's worth seeing.
