A lovely olde world pub, with a beautiful open fire and lots of nice private little spaces to sit and drink. We did not stay or eat here, but loved the atmosphere of the pub and found the service friendly.

We were a large group visiting the area and went for a drink here. We were made to feel very welcome and were offered the menu, but we'd already eaten. The pub was warm and friendly just what we expected.
Dropped into The Lord Kingsale for a pint on a recent day trip to Kinsale. Lovely little pub with plenty of character and friendly staff.
We just had a rehearsal dinner at The Lord Kinsale and had an amazing experience. The put us in the back private room, which was part of the old, original stone walled building. We also had a private bar to ourselves. The owners and service staff were very friendly and prompt. We had food and copious amounts of drinks. Overall,...

I've stayed in guesthouse, B&B, hotels all over Ireland and in many different countries but I've never had such a bad experience as The Lord Kingsale. I stayed there during the Jazz Festival and although the bar staff were professional, we were given a less than friendly welcome by the hostile owner who questioned and challenged our every (minor !)...

Really nice old fashioned establishment...really good location ....right in the centre of Kinsale. Such a pity customer relations is sadly lacking! From the day before when I rang and confirmed our three bed room was ok, nice person told me all was well - see us tomorrow! Then half an hour later got call from 'not so nice person' to...

My friend had booked a 3-bed room (B n B), as a special treat to us, her two friends,as a Birthday celebration during the jazz w.end, only to be informed on that morning, that the room was now unavailable, as some English guests had decided to stay another night! We would be assigned two separate rooms now, and that was...

We had booked a triple room a month ago and were informed the day before when we rang to confirm that the people in that room were staying another night so we could have a double and a single. When I said that was inconvenient I was basically told 'tough' - that the people have been coming for years and...

Loved Kinsale!!! Sayed at the LK B&B. The staff was very helpful; assisted us with dinner recommendations and tips regarding walking tours. The room was sufficient and the King-sized bed was a plus. Breakfast was your typical Irish B&B fare, but the servers were attentive and bread items were fresh.
Visited Kinsale for 2 days and this was the first place we went to for some lunch as it wasn't busy like some of the other eating places we passed. That should have rang warning bells. We looked at the Menus on the wall and had quite a large selection. I ordered bacon and cabbage/ My other 2 friends ordered...
