The track is very rough and only wide enough for one car. It was interesting to visit though as the history books tell you that they landed in a bog. What it does not tell you is that the area is littered with huge boulders and they were either very lucky or very skillful to land sucessfully!
A lot of driving to get to see this landing site was dissapointed i was expecting a bit more than just a big stone
Another great spot to stop at for views and to read about the landing of the plane.
If you know the history of trans-Atlantic flight, this is worth visiting just to see what it would have been like. The site is not easy to find and is in a sheep pasture - probably not much different than the day they crash landed! If you are going by, stop, but don't go out of your way to go...

As said there is a nice monument with a lovely view going up a small road opposite the road going down to the landing site. The landing site itself is a whole lot of nothing but I enjoyed that it was nothing. There are a couple of signs to describe both the Marconi Wireless station and the landing site but...
