They are what makes this house really special. The interior is very well restored and furnished. Unlike many estates, where you have to go on a guided tour, you are... More

Lovely location overlooking bantry bay. Many interesting objects and paintings. Could have done with a bit more explanation about them (guidebook was very brief and things had been moved to other rooms)

I went here with my girlfriend as she really wanted to go, I wasnt that interested in it but to be honest I was very pleasantly surprised. The information leaflet they provide is easy to read and points out the most interesting things in the house in a way thats easy to understand yet informative. We were inside the house... More

I stayed next to Bantry House, I visited the house and gardens and loved it . The allotments out back are lovely to walk around. It is a beautiful mystical garden , a must see when visiting Bantry. The view from the garden of Bantry Bay is spectacular.

Bantry house is set in beautiful gardens with stunning views over bantry bay, this house has a great history to it, with a french armada centre, also host to the west cork music chamber, and is truly worth a visit.

This a real gem in West Cork, the house and gardens are definitly worth a look. Only downside, it is a little expensive for a large group.
