I enjoyed my visit to this museum very much. Cost is 7.10 euros. I learnt alot of inetersting info. There is a shop there with very helpful staff. I enjoyed a lovley lunch. Toasted sandwhich. The staff were lovley people to. This museum is just around the corner from the train station. Lovely journey from cork a must i think. more

Cobh the Queenstown story also known as The Cobh heritage centre (www.cobhheritage.com) is located in the town of Cobh just about 10 miles easy drive east of Cork City. You can drive there – loads of free parking in the vicinity or you can take the train from Cork city. €5.50 return for an adult and €2.75 for a child... more

"The Queenstown Story" situated in the old railway station in Cobh (was Cove, then became Queeenstown and was renamed Cobh but still pronounced Cove) tells the story of those who ecaped the great famine and emigrated to America.
