It hardly seems believable that a small seaside town could have such an amazing cathedral. The inside isn't bad but the the exterior is amazing the the setting is breathtaking. Cobh itself is well worth the short drive from Cork. You could easily spend a day there with the cathedral and and the various museums. Just stellar. We couldn't find... more

The Cathedral is rightly regarded as the finest achievement of the Gothic Revival in ireland. Much useful information can be obtained on the website www.foscc.com. more
