We had a lovely few pints after going on our Viking Cruise. Dennis the bar man was really friendly and shared some good tips for our next trip to Galway. It's definitely worth a visit to the oldest pub in Ireland and if you're around on Friday or Saturday, you'll catch some traditional live music.

Its nice to look at but I cant imagine staying there for more than one drink.

Reputed to be the oldest pub in Ireland. Very popular location, always well packed. Very good beer garden which is well heated even in cold weather. Well worth stopping off here for a drink if in the area.

Nice as a novely to visit Irelands oldest pub but not much of an atmostphere. Small bar, small space, in good location. They are also a bit wary of parties bigger than 4 or 5 arriving in the door! Probably best for a quiet drink during the week, not much to it as the weekends.

There's nothing I can say which hasn't already been said. There's nothing fake about this place. If you want proper drinks (particularly Guinness) in a real pub with no airs or graces and no plastic paddy rubbish get yourself into Seans. End of story.
