Just want to say a big big THANK YOU to everyone in The Snug for all the great nights we have had there lately, everytime we go to the snug the night out is simply fantastic. Live music is always great and the craic super, the staff really make the pub what it is.

Caters to a younger crowd than Seans has a smokers area and bands out the back. Worth a look

Really great pub. They always have great live music, friendly and quick service, can get pizza with your beers if ya get the nibbles :) and there's always a good crowd!

I came down from Dublin with a few girls on a weekend absolutely great bar so friendly, you wouldn't need to go anywhere else in Athlone !!!

My friend and I have been backpacking through Ireland and we were fortunate enough to stumble into this great place. Great bar with an awesome bartender. The night we spend at this pub was one of the best nights we've had out in Europe. If you want to avoid the tourists and meet real Irish people, go here.

Went to The Snug on my hen night. Had great craic, locals and bar staff very friendly. Brill atmosphere and great location. Danced the night away. Would recommend this pub to anyone!
