What a great trek! I arrived at the stables and was met by friendly, relaxed staff (and a waggy tailed stray dog one of the staff had taken under her wing). As you walk in you can see immediately how well looked after the stables and the horses are. We all mounted at the school and did a little bit... More

With a horse-riding fan visiting - and we live nearby - it was time to bite the bullet and get back in the saddle. Two of us had an escorted trek through the lovely forest and lands near the stables and were able to enjoy the scenery and the ride on steady, calm horses. We both have some experience so... More

Went with three children under 9 who had never ridden before and they were very well looked after, shown the horses and the beautiful old stables. They were brought to a paddock and walked around with the horses with someone holding the head of the horse until they were a bit more confident. On other occasions they were brought out... More

This was my favorite part of my trip to Ireland. It even exceeded our expectations... the trail and the views are breathtaking. I´ve since recommended it to many of my friends going to Ireland... I´ve only ridden a couple times before this and I felt comfortable and safe the whole time, while also having fun.

Hi everyone! Whether you're visiting Ireland or live locally, Brennanstown Equestrian Centre is one of the best on the east coast. Their 2 hour Little Sugar Loaf treks on Friday mornings are the best treks in the business. You experience woodland, forest, open fields, mountains, gorse fields and streams on horseback. Their rates don't leave you on bread and water... More

The 2 hour Little Sugar Loaf Explorer is a great way to experience horses and the wonderful scenery of Wicklow. The horses I've ridden at Brennanstown are great - well mannered and schooled, they're a pleasure to ride. The views are breath-taking - just cross your fingers for the weather to co-operate!
