I'd been meaning to visit the "National" Sea Life centre for ages but was very disappointed with what they had to offer. In fact it's shameful for something purporting to be a National centre. For starters the building is not suitable for its purpose - it's far too narrow. It needs a lot of upgrading. I'm aware that subdued lighting... More

It's a small aquarium with a few really nice attractions, the giant octopus and shark tank were great, as were the rays. It's well kept, but it only takes an hour to go round, and that's really dragging it out too, which for 25 euro for two adults I felt was a bit over the top, although I do understand... More

Visited here with our 2 year old. Had booked the tickets online which is cheaper than paying at the counter. The fish are very well displayed and allow for easy access for young kids especially. The talks and feeding times are also quite good. Little play area is good to keep them entertained. Also very good that you can leave... More

We visited the Bray Sealife Centre in February 2012 with 2 children, aged 6 and 4. We purchased our tickets online (printed out at home) and saved a reasonable amount of money on the standard admission prices. The centre staff were very helpful and absolutely great with sharing information about the sea creatures with the children. The feeding times are... More

I brought one of my nieces to this expecting it to be very small, poorly exhibited and with very little effort made to make the centre participative and i was proven completely wrong. The crntre has many sea life creatures, nicely exhibited and with lots of information. If you go at feeding times you can see the Pirihana's eat. I... More

Many varieties of marine life on show at Bray Sealife. Great instructors who know their stuff and the ambience is very magical. Reasonably priced as you can use your tickets all day long. Would recommend to all families either with young or teenage kids. If you like mammals of the underwater variety and an all round superb experience you will... More
