well worth a visit, staff are extremely helpful. there was a bit of a wait for the demonstration as a bus full of children were late, so they gave us our own little demo with an owl and free ice cream!

Part of the Aillwee Cave experience. If you do not want to visit the cave or the Bird of Prey Center, they'll give you a partial refund. The birds are absolutely gorgeous! The demonstrations occur a little too infrequently, which can involve waiting for some time.
This is a very nice place and the bird show is amazing. The birds come flying right over your head, just inches away. You are presnted with fun and interesting facts about the birds that a flown.
Now, they will let you fly the birds, and not only the grown-ups but the 3-4 year olds as well. I seriously thought...

My wife and I were vacationing in Ireland with another couple. One of our friends was very excited about the possibility of visiting the Birds of Prey Centre and participating in a “Hawk Walk.” The idea basically just didn’t appeal to my wife and I, so we figured we would drop them off at the BoP Centre, go explore something...

Went here on our way into the caves and got a lovely surprise. We were just in time to see a bird show which was quite exciting for all (kids and adults) as well as being able to walk around and see numerous birds of prey afterwards. My highlight was seeing an owl in the gift shop that was no...

The staff was great, very polite and helpful and the show they put on was WONderful! They showed up two owls and two hawks and anybody that wanted to come up and hold them w/ the glove was able to. My wife and I were able to hold the owls and the hawks. Quite an experience, particularly for bird lovers....

A good place to be on your way to the cliffs of Moher, or the Aillwee cave.
If you want to surprise a 12 year old I highly recommend a surprise hawk walk at the Burren Birds of Prey Center. We were in Ireland for 12 nights that happened to cover our son’s birthday. For a birthday surprise I planned a hawk walk in advance. My son did not stop talking about his walk for …well he...

The top notch reviews are all justified! This was a truly amazing experience. By turns thrilling, wonderous, funny and educational, a real treat, and a show and experience that is expertly delivered. For once, a fairly priced attraction that actually delivers way way more than it delivers. Congratulations and well done to all involved!
This was our absolute favorite part of our trip. We did the Hawk Walk, and it was totally worth the 70 euro each. It was something we'll never forget. Our guide (Colm, we think?) was great, and seemed to know everything you could about the Harris Hawks we were flying. This guy loves his job. He also ran the flight...
