When you reach the summit of this wonderful mountain the view on a clear day it takes you breath. It can be tough going getting to the top but once there you don't want to leave.
Very disappointing room had two extremely small supposed to be double beds well if two people could fit in it i b surprised, states short walk to letterkenny again its not a short walk saving grace breakfast good.In general very dull hotel with not too pleasant staff bar/receptionist staff on breakfast more pleasant wont b back
If you are in Donegal a visit to the Park/Lake and Castle are a MUST. The Castle tour is super and the surrounding parkland and lake are fantastic. Watch out for the midges though !!! Very reasonable shuttle bus/castle tour prices. Make sure you have your camera and video at the ready :)
From East End Tory, the view of Erigal changes every monent. In the mist Erigal stays a mistery, in clear sky Erigal changes like a model on the catwalk

We climbed on a brilliant sunny morning - what a view! Would not recommend if misty though as some parts precarious! It is very boggy at the bottom so be prepared for the possibility of wet feet. It took just over an hour to climb to summit (quite windy at the top dispite the glorious day) but absolutely worth it... More
Make sure you bring your wet gear but other than that a great trek and the view is out of this world on a clear day..
