You drive directly in, no climbing, no hiking involved. Beautiful waterfall and tallest (we were told) in Europe. Not sure the price was fair since it is only a waterfall but if you were coming in to picnic (which it appeared may were doing) - it was very peaceful setting.... still very glad we were able to see this.

I have been to Powerscourt waterfall on 5 occasions since I discovered it by accident back in 1986. I am not a spiritual person by any means but I do feel an overwhelming sense of inner calm and tranquility each time I visit. I can happily sit for an hour or more and simply watch the water cascade down over... More

We spent the majority of our afternoon in the Powerscourt gardens which is about 10 minutes drive from the waterfall. I've been here a few times and every time I'm fortunate with the weather which makes you appreciate the views and gardens even more. We especially enjoyed the japanese gardens and the kids loved the pet cemetry. Highly recommend going... More

Was there taking photographs with no restrictions about where to stand etc which meant you could get a lot of different variants.Quite a lot of people about leaving it sometimes hard to get picture without someone in it.

I'm probably going to be a little harsh here... but it was my experience and this is how I left feeling. The waterfall itself is stunning and well worth a visit. I have however been more impressed by less impressive waterfalls in other parts of the world (including Ireland) and I visit lots of waterfalls as I love them. For... More

This was another one of our stops on our tour of Ireland,. The gardens are very large and it will take quite a bit of time to see it all. One garden leads to another and lots of fountains We did not see as all of it as it was a very cold and rainy day..
