Perfectly preserved with plenty of opportunity to sit in silence (if you want) to admire and enjoy the beautiful settings.

Grounds were so well kept and so sootingon the eye - peaceful. House very intersting and so nice not to be bothered by the Guides but so helpful... More

Wow! Thank you for your glowing review. It is true that beautiful weather certainly adds to the experience at Michelham Priory, but I am so glad that you enjoyed so many aspects of your visit. We have worked hard over the winter to improve the site, and it is so good to hear that the changes are successful. Works are... More

My boys liked the forge very much and watched the smith at work and I liked the rope museum coming from a small town in Holland where we also have... More

Michelham Priory is lovely, well worth a visit, with friendly and informative staff. Both inside and out there is a lot to see. The experience is a little uneven in places though.
