Muskoka Lakes Winery, the only winery in Muskoka, produces wine from local fruit, such as Cranberries and Blueberries. The winery is situated next to a Cranberry marsh, in the woods near Lake Muskoka. There is an onsite wine tasting bar and wine store. Free wine tastings daily, year round, or take a self-guided tour of the farm. Open Daily 9-5, Sunday 11-4.

Wendy Hogarth knows her berries and provides a terrific presentation on the making of fruit wines while conducting a tasting. There is a lot to see and explore around the farm. Worth the trip to Bala.
