The view of the Roman bridge from the walls of the Alcazaba were beautiful.
This is probably one of the largest Alcazar we have visited in Spain. The impressive size and the views over the river from its walls is worth dropping by. However inside little remains except the water-praying tower (interesting to visit) and some Roman foundations (still undergoing excavations). We expect more might be discovered in later years when excavations move along...

The Alcazaba is small but with wonderful views of teh river from the walls and an amazing cistern.
