don't go there with public transportation from Rhodes. Taxi is expensive. Go only if you have a car, otherwise stay away especially summer. too hot. and too disorganized (bus), and too many tourists. more

We just returned from a 2 week vacation on Crete and Rhodes and spend sveral days in Lindos at the Lindos Memories Hotel (see that review). The trip up the Acropolis is certainly worth it. We took the donkeys up and walked down. Unlike a previous reveiw, our party of 4 had only cudos for the donkies and their handlers... more

When you enter the village of Lindos beware of the dangers of riding a donkey up to the acropolis. I decided to take my wife and daughter on a donkey ride to the acropolis of Lindos. I requested that my three year old daughter ride with my wife for her protection. I was told that she had to ride on... more
