Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is an amusement park worth to be visited. We were tempted between various interesting and adrenaline raising rides and games you won`t be disappointing with.

This amusement park is located in a small touristic city. It is not expensive, but also not so big. My 6-year old had a fantastic time here enjoying all the different attractions. Some of the attractions might look outdated, but are maintained pretty well. The staff is very friendly and look like they are happy too.

A very strange experience, with really nice features and some very strange and unappropriate feautures for children. Nice things: small theme park with lots of attractions for small children (I’d say 1-9 year olds). Entry is quite cheap (€15,5 for adults, seniors and young children are cheaper) and on a sunny sunday there were almost no lines. It has a nice vibe and some of the attractions are really fun like the cobra slide and the barefoot walking trail. Season tickets for adults are only €29,95!
The strange thing was that most of the attractions looked like old discarded carnival attractions, old, worn and without any kind of theme that would make sense in its surroundings. They have a dinosaur park with huge fake dino’s, some of which are really cool, some are just weird and ugly. Randomly came across smurfs, Asterix, spiderman, pirates and many characters badly stolen from the Efteling. There is a truly horrifying clown display, the haunted house is definitely 12+ and the lack of automisation of the rides is somewhat scary. A member of staff would have to press the go button and manually pull a brake to make a ride start and stop. And the entry may be cheap, parking costs €6,50 and a bottle of water €2,85. Bathrooms were not kept clean and there were not enough of them. Would go there again with small children, as they don’t notice all the flaws, older children will probably not approve.

This is a themepark that refuses to choose a theme. I think that the small park could benefit from selecting one or two instead of Pirates, dinosaurs, knights, and a safari. That said, while the personnel was very helpful and friendly, most of the rides were very old, sun bleached, fair rides and even an Efteling rip off (the talking tree). A shame because the park also has a nice playground, a very fun 'barefeet' pirate trail and (as mentioned before) really helpful staff. My suggestion would be: ditch the old fair rides and create more adventure trails and theme rides. Now its fun for a few hours at most, for children up to 8.

It's great fun for children up to 8 years old.
Teenagers won't like it. We loved it it was exactly for our age groups. I recommend it very much.

A small but complete park, a little dated and up for some new paintwork. It's a nice day out for your kids, nowadays there's a little tourist-train departing from the park for a small spin around the citycentre of Valkenburg. Take a new set of clothes with you because of risking a wet suit..

We visited with three girls; 2, 9 and 12 years old. This cannot be compared to the larger amusement parks like Six Flags or Disney and therefore the prices are of course much lower. The prices are very reasonable in our opinion. We enjoyed ourselves and almost spent a full day, although 3 hours are more than enough to cover the park. The perfect age is probably between 3 and 7 years old but our oldest still liked the water slide and the bumper cars. The younger ones enjoyed the park a lot. If 2 or 3 attractions would be added for teenagers (10+) this would be a perfect park to visit for us. Must mention that the staff was all very friendly although not everyone spoke English.

We had a good day out at the park. It is very much aimed at younger children and our 4 yr old had a ball. There are enough attractions but some of them are pretty basic. The boat slide and roller coaster were particularly good though. There was also a train tour - I would miss this out as there was not really anything of interest to see and it took us about 45 minutes. For a family of 4 (one 10 month old) it cost 44 Euros and this included 6 Euros for parking.

Though the kids enjoyed the price versus value is totally out of line and the staff, facilities and rules unfriendly.

Kids aged 2 and older pay full 12,50 EUR entrance fee, however, two year olds are not allowed in many of the attractions, understandable for saftely reasons, but don't charge full price. Add to that that several attractions have coin slots and require additional fees. Food and consumption are ridiculously overcharged and payments are cash only. We saw a man being send out of the park to walk 10 minutes to an atm to pay for his kids ice cream when expecting to be able to pay by card as is possible in 99% of all establishmens in Holland.

Majority of the staff was grumpy and unfriendly. All in all a dubious experience.

We were staying with our grandchildren over the Christmas Period in Valkenburg, Tip advisor was showing that the venue was open 10am to 5pm - however on arrival at site it was all locked up and appeared to be closed for the winter. This seemed very strange seeing the large number of visitors to the town,
