This is a very busy golf course. I found the staff pleasant enough and the whole set up acceptable. The course itself would not be the most challenging and there are a few nice holes on it. I would say it would suit the higher handicap golfer. the greens themselves were acceptable but it is no Augusta. That said for... more

I have just returned from a few days golf at Vilamoura (10/12/06)and would like to warn other unsuspecting golfers before they too throw good money away at this third-rate resort. We played Millenium (best of a bad bunch), Pinhal (absolute disgrace) and the Old Course (overplayed Muni). The staff at all of these courses were rude and surley and the... more

Excellent golf course. Played here in June last year and loved it. First few holes are on quite open terrain course then winds through pine forest. Course is extremely well kept and greens are perfect. Will challenge the best golfers but average players will enjoy also. staff are very friendly and accomodating. Can't wait to return June 2004. more
