We have just spent a fascinating afternoon at Kipling Hall. We started with lunch in the tea room - delicious quiche and salad and followed this with a very pleasant walk around the lake. The house and its history is very interesting - especially the links with Maryland USA. The library was a fascinating room with many beautifully restored paintings...

Just returned from a long awaited visit to Kiplin Hall. Love a stately home and tea room is a bonus, so surely we couldn't be disappointed at this place, as it has an award winning tea room ?......car park is very small for this house and we struggled to find a spot. Kiplin Hall is run by the trustees and a volunteer staff. Fab historic house and wonderful grounds - veg garden and lake views especially. We arrived in driving rain and had a very warm welocme and great coffee and cake in the tea rooms - no scones they were just coming out of the oven and the smell was positively...
