The lake is often closed and smelly, not good for swimming. When it is open it is glorious. Check first.

For some free family entertainment I recommend you go and visit the Bungalow Park @ Burrill Lakes just south of Ulludulla N.S.W. We have been visiting this attraction for over 30 yrs. At 3pm (March to October) or 4pm (During Daylight savings time October to March) daily you can feed wild Rainbow Lorrikeets. The park owners provide the food in...
