This is a hidden gem. It's not overly commercialized, I'm not sure how they were able to preserve this hidden secret. This is like swimming in the aquarium. You pay a park fee of $ 2 USD per person, it's totally worth it. Tip your guide, they do a good job. This is the BEST snorkeling ever. Please respect the... more

I recently returned from Puerto Morelos. I went on a snorkeling tour out to the reef for about $22 USD. Snorkeling tours are easy to find all over town. The reef was about 700 FT of shore. You must wear a life jacket to prevent damage to the spectacular reef. We saw many varieties of fish. The coral was beautiful... more
