Very interesting ruins in a lovely area . It was not crowded when we visisted and we had plenty of opportunity to see the buildings and the wildlife and views . Can be hot. take lots of water .Highly recommended .

I really enjoyed Palenque which is spread out over a large area. Be prepared to walk quite a bit around the site including quite a few steps.
