The new interactive displays in the Anzac Hall is simply magnificent. It was so good that we literally ran out of time. You need all day to see everything. The Australian War Memorial is well worth spending half a day at. I went back the next day and would certainly return there when in Canberra again. Every evening between 5.30 and 6pm there is a touching closing ceremony at the War Memorial. They have it around the pool of Remembrance area. Make sure you have a look at it.
