This is an excellent place to visit in Canberra - great for children. Loved the Circa theatre which starts of the tour - a short film about the nation, people and land. The Aborigines display was fantastic. I was glad to be able to show my children the way things were before. A must see place for Canberra - and... more

Excellent museum, just wish i had had more than the one day allocated during my visit last year. As an anthropologist in waiting it was refreshing to see how, depsite oppositions and threats of funding cuts if not adhering to official governement policy on reconciliation and 'the past', the museum board and its emplyees have not shied away from presenting... more
