Just returned from a 17 day Wonders of China trip with Wendy Wu Tours. The whole experience was well organised and great value for money. We were met at Beijing airport by a local guide and taken to our hotel where we met the other 25 people in the group. We were a mix of brits and Aussies all well... More

The China Splendor tour provides a quick snapshot of China, with visits to major cities - Xian, Shanghai and Beijing - as well as the countryside. The visit to the Nine Villages Valley was a pleasant surprise, as I knew nothing about it, but in the foothills of Tibet it provided a pleasant change from the bustling big cities of... More

We did this 9 day tour taking in the highlights of Shanghai, Xian and Beijing. Doing a tour took away all the hassle of finding out what we wanted to see and how best to get there. We found it was very well organised and we saw everything and more that we wanted to. We learnt a lot about China... More

Great value for money, well organised, good national and local guides. Hotels of good standard but location not central and little to do in the evenings. beds hard but that seems to be the norm. Check out which optional tours you want to do, they were all good, but as a couple the price can mount up. Expect all the... More

We have just returned from the Grand Tour of China a 28 day tour including flight times. We are not tour participants by choice as we prefer independent travel, however we wanted to experience a wide area of China and the complexities of language made us decide to choose a tour. Several friends and iother travel personnel we met at... More

First time we'd done an escorted tour and for us, it was the best way of seeing China. Saved all the hassle of driving on the chaotic roads and we could relax and enjoy the interesting places we were taken to. Watched some wonderful, memorable theatre shows that we would never have known about, walked on the Great Wall, visited... More

I usually travel independently and don’t like the idea of escorted tours, but on advice on how difficult some aspects of travel in China can be I decided to give this Wendy Wu tour a go. Overall I would recommend the tour, it offers good value for money and you see a lot of key sites in a short amount... More

Just returned from a Wendy Wu trip. The trip was very well organised the escorts both national and local were knowledgeable about the areas that we were visiting they took us to very interesting places. The trip is busy and can be tiring some days you have a wakeup call at 7am and you are out until 7pm. Don’t let... More

The Wendy Wu tour, Magnificent China, was excellent value for money, with superb organisation. Our National Guide, Addison, was a delightful young man, and nothing was too much trouble; the Local Guides were also extremely good and very knowledgeable. As long as you are not expecting the height of luxury, I can recommend Wendy Wu tours. Overall it was a... More

Toured China for 26 days and thoroughly enjoyed it except for the food. All the sightseeing was immense; the Great Wall, the Teraccota soldiers, the Yangtse river. Possibly our favourite places were Xian, Kunming and Dali where we learnt a lot about Chinese culture. Lots of travelling involved; 4 internal flights, an overnight train journey and lots of coach travel... More
