Walk across the bridge for a great view of the Harbour and get your picture taken with the Darling Harbour sign. Connects to great museums, shopping centers, and some good walks. A great alternative to Sydney Harbour. more

We didn't spend much time here but it is great location and well worth spending quite a bit of time exploring. From other reviews I can see that it is great location to stay as it is central to most everything and lots to do within walking distance. We skipped aquarium and wildlife park (teenagers not to into that stuff... more

My kids adored the place, even my husband. A great place for family vacation. We were in Sydney for a week and couldn't get enough. We stayed in an accommodation in Circular Quay, located in between the Opera House and Darling Habour. The train station is just a walk from our apartment. more

This is one of the places in Sydney that you need to visit. Chances are you will at some point or other anyway as the hop-on hop-off cruises start from here, the aquarium is here, the explorer buses pass through and there is a wealth of museums and cafes to explore or eat at. There are some shops too I... more

We stayed near Darling Harbour and happened to venture that way most days. It was buzzing with life and friendliness and there was so much to see. There are some nice places to eat and the street performers were brilliant. Definately worth going to. more

There always seems to be something to see or do whilst in Darling Harbour. There are a number of hotels overlooking the harbour (including the Ibis, Novotel, Mecure) which must offer great value views. There are wooden tiered steps down to the water which double up as great places to sit, sunbathe or just watch the world go by! Whilst... more

Okay, so you're not going to find the best restaurants in the city, and you can expect to pay above average for a schooner of ale, but there is always something worthy of attention going on in Darling Harbour. Permanent attractions such as the Chinese Garden of Friendship, iMax theatre and Wildlife World are well worth a visit, and if... more

We had a wonderful few days touring around Sydney and Darling Harbour. Visited the Aquarium, Paddy's Market etc etc and tried out a number of the restuarants. Can't fault most of them but give CMC ( Citi Marina Cafe) a miss. Shocking service, bad food, cold and almost raw food. A waitress who couldn't understand english. Totally disgraceful. Give Nick's... more
