A walk on Manly beach , shopping at the small but friendly market stalls on Sunday and fish & chips on the waterfront before heading back to the hustle of the city. Great fun for a few bucks.
I love walking through Sydney as it has so much to offer and such a diverse amount of people who visit here every day. The walk from the Opera House around to Mrs Macqarie's Chair is very beautiful. This walk around the other way, heading towards the Rocks has lots of musicians and entertainers around Circular Quay.
Brilliant. Great to take a cruise, travel by ferry or just sit in a park and look at it from a great vantage point. Sitting at the Opera Bar drinking cocktails watching the sun go down over the bridge is a must.
Nothig wrong with the views of the bridge etc , we were there at a very busy time and you felt part of a large crowd ....ferries were packed ( good humoured ) so we looked elsewhere for a quieter life
this place is full of life and with the harbour bridge and the opera house as well as all the wonderful stalls and shops and intresting characters a place you could spend a couple of hours in
Food, views and cost. With everything that is here there literally is something for everyone and for every budget.
Its a fascinating place, it really depends on what one would like to do. We walked all over and had a lovely time.
The sheer scale, the iconic bridge, the Opera House, the harbourside homes, the brilliant ferries and not forgetting the exuberant Aussies. Don't bother with the harbour cruises the ferries are GREAT!
Doesn't matter if you walk along the bank, over the bridge or jump on a cruise this Harbour is simply stunning. Pick a fine day and watch the water sparkle and the flotilla of varying boats passing by. Second to none.
