We visited Alice Springs October 11 and 12, 2009. We wished we had had a third day, as one of the things we were most excited about was the Dreamtime Aboriginal Cultural Journey, and even after they confirmed it the night before, they failed to pick us up at the hotel as scheduled. We had the bus trip to Ayers... more

The sunset ride was a perfect introduction to Marcus and his camels. The camels were very calm, majestic beasts and the ride was both relaxing and spectacular - a highlight of our time in Alice and perfect for families. As with all the best things it was not long enough - next time we will book the half day ride. more

I've spent a few sunsets upon a camel with Pyndan treks, every time it has been a spectacular, relaxing and fascinating experience. The camels are beautifully behaved and a pleasure to get to know. I have taken small children , family members and grandparents, all have loved it. The Ilparpa Valley is close to Alice Springs, full of wildlife and... more

The new cafe is looking great too.Good value, genuine experience... more

I loved it how all the camels had names and were all so contented and docile. The countryside was exquisite, big open spaces of red earth and red hills in the distance. It was nice to get out of the hussle of Alice Springs for a bit. A gentle, quiet ride is just the thing on a busy holiday. more

The four of us went on the overnight camel trek in mid September and loved it. Two of our group were very aprehensive about getting on a camel, sleeping exposed to the elements (and creepy crawlies) and using a 'bush toilet' but this trip ended up being the highlight of their time in Australia. Our tour guide, Ester, was so... more

The camels are calm and well trained. The vibe is friendly, professional but not hard-sell, we're here to appreciate the camels and the countryside and to enjoy ourselves. There's plenty of laughter and excitement from the passengers when the camels unfold in a zig-zag motion to stand up, suddenly we're a long way off the ground. We start off very... more

My daughter and I had a great experiencewhen we decided to go on a camel ride with Marcus and Pyndan Camel Tracks. The ride was well organised witha very authentic feel about it. The stunning countryside and professional management of the camels by Marcus, combined with the relaxed and peaceful atmosphere, made the experience extremely worthwhile. more
