Interesting place to visit if you have a hour to spare in Alice. You will be shown a film about the flying doctor service. There is then a small museum to walk around and a cafe which sells fantastic cakes. There is also a souvenir shop to browse in. Sit in the cafe gardens and watch the beautiful wild birds. more
The Royal Flying Doctor Service was not on top of my to-do list in Alice Springs, but I went because I had some spare time and I do not regret it. If you know nothing about the RFDS, it is definitely worth a visit. Allow 30-45 minutes. Their café is also very nice. more
