My wife and I had the pleasure of taking a to hour flight from Ayers Rock, flying over Uluru, the Olgas, Lake Armadeus and Kings Canyon. Our pilot picked us up from our resort on time and we drove five minutes to the airport. We had our own plane, a small but modern Cessna 172. After some formalities, we were... More

We flew Lake Amadeus / Kings Canyon / Kata Juta / Uluru, starting in the late afternoon and finishing with sunset at Kata Jjuta and Uluru. We were fortunate to have excellent flying conditions, and the whole experience was fantastic. It is costly, but excellent value, and choosing the fixed-wing Cessna over the helicopter gave us much more time in... More

Decided to splash out on a flight - chose a plane rather than a helicopter as it was a bit cheaper and gave more time in the air. We took the Uluru/Kata Tjuta combined flight and it was fantastic. As they were a bit quiet they recommended we took the flight at Sunset. Our pilot, Adesh, picked us up from... More

I opted to do the scenic flight rather than the full walk around Uluru. Never regretted the idea since up there, I got to see the magnificent aerial view of the Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Mt Conner in one line! As well, the huge Salk lake can be seen from the distant!

We splurged and flew over Ayers Rock and the Olgas - worth it to see how spectacular and grand they are from the air. You can see Ayers Rock when you fly out from the airport if you are on the right hand side of the plane.

Stayed at the Desert Gardens Hotel (Ayers Rock Resort) and from there took a 36 minute flight over the above two places. Weather was beautiful - clear. sunny and bright. Great flight which was well worth it. Also if you get the chance - Sound of Silence Dinner - held in the desert with drinks canapes and a very nice... More

Well worth it. Expensive but the view is awesome. Dislike - when booked I thought I would be in the helicopter with bubble windows that you can see out - small brown helicopter when we arrived with a pilot who was not very chatty - luckily we had an American with us who kept the conversation going

our original flight was cancelled due to the weather which was very disappointing especially as we had got up at 4.30am!! However, having seen how upset i was ( as all our trips over the 2 days had been cancelled and all at the last minute) they went out of their way to find us a slot... which they did... More

Ayers Rock Scenic Flights is the best way to see the rock and fully understand the size of the desert and landscapes! I went on a 15min flight and it was worth EVERY cent, one of the best moments of my life!
