Sweetheart the croc and the Cyclone Tracy exhibits are a must see for anyone visiting Darwin. It only takes half an hour or a full hour to have a good look around. The exhibits are very well done and worth the look.

Grab a coffee at the Cornucopia Cafe looking over the ocean and enjoy a stroll around the museum when ready.

This is a wide-ranging and eclectic collection of art, history, culture, natural history and maritime exhibits. It includes an extensive collection of Aboriginal Art. It's also free to visit. I particularly enjoyed the natural history exhibit and the collection of boats from SE Asia. Certainly worth visiting if you are in Darwin.

This museum is not easy to get to unless you have a car so we went by taxi on our last morning in Darwin. Excellent Cyclone Tracy exhibit. The boats exhibit was worth seeing as well

Liked the layouts every where, the displays, the cyclone Tracy section inclusive of Sound room, the huge boats hall. It is easy to get to, close to all suburbs. It's free - and well airconditioned
