Eagle Street Pier is in a beautiful setting right by the river and with views of the Story Bridge. Great restaurants, bars and cafes. We rarely ate elsewhere.
Adjacent to the CBD, it has a terrific setting on the river overlooking The Story Bridge and is a mix of chain fast food outlets, medium range cafe/restaurants and established up market eateries for the business community. The building themselves are now looking jaded.
The Pier is in the heart of Brisbane's CBD and as well as the riverside promenade to stroll along, it's stacked with eateries and bars of various types and price range. Take an evening stroll and take your pick. City Cat ferries and cross river ferries stop here and the replica paddle-wheel riverboat the Kookaburra Queen also operate from here.
some excellent places but some dross - Jellyfish and that Bavarian bier place memorable -but different reasons - Jellyfish quite superb the Bavarian joint full of very drunk youngers and music played at full volume through crap speakers. AGGH!
If you are looking for a quick beer or a great sit-down meal, you will find everything in between when you go to Eagle St... Enjoy the place and food and the views
Take the walk along the river bank until you reach Eagle Street Pier and visit the many cafe, restuant and fine dining as well a drink at the Pig & spit
From here, you can use the free CityHopper ferry service to enjoy the Brisbane skyline while being on the river. It's beautiful! Then return to Eagle Street Pier where there's a variety of restaurants nearby with outdoor seating. You can enjoy the view with a glass of wine!

Full of bars, cafes, eateries and restaurants and plenty more on offer elsewhere ... I like Coffee Club, Nagomi and George's Seafood .....
Eagle Street Pier is basically one area full of restaurants overlooking the river. There is something for all price brackets from a food court area to some pricey top end eateries. The ferry and the paddle steamer pull up here and it's a great place to people watch as it's always busy..on a weekend it's sometimes difficult to get a... More
