We had the pleasure of doing the Low Isles with Steve from Reef Sprinter. It is a very fast trip out and completely comfortable even for our 5 year old. I travelled with a young family to Port Douglas in December. This time of year is very humid and hot with an average of 33 degrees. The town is lush with tropical vegetation and the people are really friendly. There are many restaurants located in town along with various retail outlets. It looked good moored in the Harbour so took a last minute decision as a non sailor to try the Wednesday Sunset Sail, left the jetty at 5.00p.m. and once out to sea off with the engine and up with the sails.
