This place is just lovely. The breakfast with the birds was loved by all, especially the kids. The shows are great and you do get close to the animals, which is what we love. The admission price, including breakfast is well worth the price!

The lunch buffet was pretty good. Most of the animals are native to Northern Queensland. I ended up following the zoo keeper around for almost 3 hours because he gave such an educational talks about the animals in the Habitat.

A great little zoo on the way into Port Douglas. We did the behind the scenes tour and were able to see where they treat any sick animals and how they prepare the animals food every day. We arrived at approx 8 am and did breakfast with the birds. We were met on arrival and shown to our seats and then at our lesiure we could help ourselves to a full buffet brefast.
