Be aware of the Life guards and what they deem safe areas to swim,as the rips can take you away fast and get you into trouble,so stay between the flags, Also use heaps of suntan lotion,as the sun there burns fast,no good... This place really is brilliant. Fantastic for sunbathing, surfing or just for a walk. Loads of bars and restaurants to choose from for a beer or lunch, then back to the beach. Surfers Paradise is the second best beach I have been to behind Borocay, The Philippines.

You can walk as far as you want to in either direction and the beach is there for you to enjoy at your leisure. I loved the point that it was lit up at night, it was great for sunset photography and it was nice to look out at in the evening from the hotel room

My Family and I enjoy the clean and cool beach. My kid loves it. Is a must visit beach. cheers

The sunrise was absolutley gorgeous, it appeared on the horizon as if the sky was on fire. I wonder if this is where the Gold coast gets its name.
