It was very interesting to see the Maheno Wreck on our tour of Frasier Island. While it was not one of the highlights of our Frasier Island trip, it still was very interesting!!!

Not much left of this rusting hulk now but very interesting history, and looks great from the air.
If you are going to see this attraction, try going at a time the tour buses aren't around, it's very hard to take good photo's with people getting in the way and walking in front of you
Husband took kids fishing at the wreck....they caught a few little fish which was great for them. Felt very busy at times with the buses, but kept an eye on the kids and they were fine.
The history and information given is amazing .They say it is the most photographed wreck in the world? 60 feet of the hull is under the sand/water
Very nice to look at and watch the waves crashing over. Obvisouly a popular spot so was quite busy
A long time ago stranded vessel lies rusting on the beach. Probably gone after 80 more years.
Great story behind the wreck but stay clear of the wreck or you will get fined
Hauntingly beautiful and much more deteriorated than when I visited it in 1995
The last remains of a luxury cruiseship that ran aground when under tow. Not much of it left now so go there soon!
