Recently I joined nine other women on a three day trek with" Life's An Adventure" in the Bay of Fires. The scenery was fantastic, and the weather (although you cant control that) superb. We were guided by an experienced, competent and delightful young guide who led us at a very reasonable pace, was knowledgable, friendly and very eco - aware.... More

A beautiful beach that is generally deserted. Bay of Fires has the white white sand blue blue water and the rocks are coloured from an algae that makes them the brightest orange. Perfect for some beautiful photography, fishing, surfing or just relaxing on the beach. Bay of Fires is a National Reserve, so, as always, respect the environment and take... More

If you are in search of that calm, romantic, perfect blue water, white sand holiday then the Bay of Fires is where you need to be. There is so many special places to discover along the Bay of Fires... and one really great place is Binalong Bay, 10 minutes from St Helens. It such a gorgeous little place with a... More

The photos basically show what it is. I discovered that if you go out to Eddystone point on the dirt road, there's a sign not far from the lighthouse pointimg to the beach. You come out at the very north end of the bay. White sand, orange rocks and you'll probably be alone. Far superior tk the southern end.

I went on the Cradle Huts 4 day hike on the Bay of Fires and I have been to some amazing places but this was the highlight of all my travels. It was incredibly well organized; our two guides were phenomenal: lovely to be with, knowlegeable, and willing to go the extra mile for anything. The food was fresh and... More

We visited the Bay of Fires over Easter. Camped at one of the free camping sites close to the beach. I would really recommend viewing the Bay of Fires at sunrise. It is just spectacular the way the rising sun hits the rocks. Despite the crowded campsite, the beach was virtually empty at sunrise and we felt we were in... More

Cradle Huts' four-day adventure on the Bay of Fires is something else. It is an unusually well-balanced mix of physical effort (walking and kayaking suitable for 60 year olds like us), immersion in nature which in this location is full of delights, and very comfortable living — great food and wine and ecologically exemplary accommodation. Liked best: smart, delightful and... More

We arrived at night-time in a campervan so just parked somewhere near Binnalong Bay. We drove up to the Bay of Fires first thing. We parked at Swimcart Beach. It was mid November 2009, no school hols, so it was pretty much deserted. The beach was stunning. White as white sand and Thailand-blue water! I'm not sure what the last... More

the picutures you see pretty much sum it up. There didn't seem to be any where to lay on the beach and i saw other orange rocks else where on my trip.
