This was the best journey I had around Tasmania. We took the Full Day Tour that included: - a coach from Hobart (Franklin Wharf) to Port Arthur - 2 hour trip; - a small breakfast (a muffin plus juice and coffee); - 3 hour ride on a speed boat around the Tasman Island (AWESOME); - a sandwich for lunch at... Really well-run operation; easy to find, great staff, nothing too much trouble. We had good weather in the bay- saw seals, cormorants, and other sea birds- and the commentary was just spot-on with an entertaining mix of nature and geology. The cliffs alone are worth the trip! Driver thought it would be fun to take us out into ocean, just... More

This is a must experience. The yellow boat gave us the feeling of safety & security with 900hp it glides through the roughest of seas allowing for the ultimate adventure with breath taking views and wildlife. Along with top crew of whom we had the pleasure of Ben & Damo who's friendliness, capability & knowledge are supreme. Cheers.

We had a great trip. Were very lucky in the weather - way above average temperatures, calm seas and very little swell. Scenery was stunning with the sea cliffs rising dramatically out of the ocean. The staff were knowledgeable and accomodating. Plenty of wonderful photos. We were very lucky to find ourselves in the midst of a large pod of... More

We both really enjoyed this trip. Excellent value for money. Amazing coastline. Scenery alone would be worth the trip but also saw penguins, seals and albatross. Lady at booking office plus both crew members were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Vessel used was extremely smooth considering the choppy conditions. Still worth eating the ginger they provide, just in case.

We've been to Tassie loads of times, usually with overseas pals and have visited the Port Arthur/Tasman Island area many times. However, we'd not noticed this cruise until it was recommended by our B&B hosts last week. It was terrific - the guys running it are equally informative, humorous and safety conscious and the scenery was jaw-dropping. Our American friends... More

My husband and I recently did the three hour Eco cruise around the Tasman Peninsula. We were unsure whether to do it at first as six metre swells were forecast and for someone like me who hasn't got good sealegs, I was a little apprehensive! But, I thought, I have to do this and surely this crazy weather and conditions... More

Did the Bruny Island Cruise with Rob Pennicot a few years ago, this was first opportunity to do the Tasman Island Cruise .We had a grey day with moderate NE winds so went from Port Arthur yo Cape Pillar/Tasman Island and return because of the weather. The Niad boats are very impressive,no one was seasick despite some chop and swell off Tasman... We did not expect too much from this company at the southern tip of Australia's Tasmania but we were soooo wrong. This is one of the best cruises for seeing the spectacular rugged coastline of Tasmania and the abundant sea-life that we have ever been on. We travelled all the way to Vancouver last year where whale sitings and other... More
