This is showing at the Ian Potter Centre which is part of the National Gallary of Victoria (NVG)

Excellent collection of art and it's free. National Gallery of Victoria is easily accessible by public transportation or on foot. I have visited major museums around the world and I was very impressed with the collection. It is worth a visit, spend about 2 hours to enjoy.

Beautiful gallery with some amazing international art. Well worth a look.

Never been disappointed. Wonderful Fred Williams exhibition

The gallery had a diverse (for me a non-regular gallery visitor) collection with a number of Australian classics. I took my time with these classics, then walked into a gallery with works from high school students, more great diversity. Will go back

It rains in Melbourne, a lot. So, this is a good place to check out art from all over the world and different styles and eras. Unfortunately their contemporary exhibits are lacking and not many photography exhibits either.

While we're not exactly culture vultures, we thought we'd check out the gallery while in Melbourne. We found the entry price really reasonable and the range of art on display surprised us as we imagined it would all be Australian stuff (not sure why). Enjoyed!

They offer so much in such a great space. Last time I went they had a couple of bands playing out the back, it was a fantastic experience well worth going.

As someone who has visited the national gallery in London and The Louvre In Paris, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the works on display, particularly in the European section. With free admission it is great value.
